The name of the company carries weight, that's for sure. It opens doors and makes it easier to get clients to respond. The training programs and learning opportunities are very good, so that is a plus point. Got to meet a lot of different people, so you build a good network.

My manager micro-manages every email I send. Every single thing requires approval, which slows down progress. The office has a lot of noise, it can be hard to concentrate. The health insurance doesn't cover dental, and HR takes forever to reply to emails.

Working at EY gave me amazing exposure to different industries and client engagements. I learned so much about how businesses operate, and the opportunity to travel to different locations was fantastic. The teamwork was usually great, and I made some really good friends. I feel like my understanding of business has gone way up since I joined.

The workload is absolutely insane. I often had to work late nights and weekends to meet deadlines. The pressure was always on, and it definitely impacted my work-life balance. I never felt like I could fully switch off and relax. Also, the performance reviews felt a bit subjective sometimes.
